HGC Leisure Limited Golf Membership Terms and Conditions
Definitions and Wording
- The “Club” is HGC Lesiure Limited t/a Hazlemere Golf Club, company registration number 1180456111;
- Membership is your joining the Club on successful acceptance of your Membership Application by the Club; Membership will be open to anyone interested in golf on application regardless of ethnicity, nationality, religion, or other beliefs, sex, age, disability or sexual orientation. The Club shall be entitled to limit Membership on a non-discriminatory basis according to available facilities;
- Membership Category Membership will be divided into different categories with different levels of playing rights and with appropriate levels of subscription;
- Membership Application the completed and signed application form;
- Membership Period 12 consecutive months;
- Membership Fees The annual subscription payable by Members shall be such as the Club shall from time to time prescribe and it may prescribe a different annual subscription in respect of each class of Membership;
- Club Membership Year 1st May to 30th April;
- Joining Date is the date on the Application form and is the first day the member is authorised to access the Club’s golf course;
- Direct Debit Payment administered by Eazycollect Limited.
- If the course is unavailable to play due to unforeseen circumstances no refunds will be given.
Membership
- Membership is for a minimum of 12 twelve months;
- A signed Membership Application must be signed by the new member before membership benefits can commence;
- On joining 12 months membership fees become due;
- On the anniversary of a member first joining the pro rata membership fee due from the anniversary date of joining to the end of the Club’s membership year is due, thereafter the member will pay the annual membership fee according to the Club Membership year;
- Membership fees shall be such as the Club shall from time to time prescribe and it may prescribe a different annual subscription in respect of each category of Membership;
- The Club shall be entitled to refuse or withdraw any Membership only for good cause such as conduct or character likely to bring the Club or the game of golf into disrepute;
- Any Member wishing to resign his or her membership of the Club shall give notice in writing or email to the Club. The Member shall be liable for the annual subscription for the year in which his or her resignation is given.
Membership Fee Payment
- The Club shall notify members by letter or email prior to Membership fees becoming due;
- Membership fees must be paid in full prior to the due date;
- Membership fees are not refundable after completion of the statutory cooling off period, currently 14 days;
- Membership fees can be paid by monthly Direct Debit at no additional cost, the annual fee will be divided by 12 and new members must pay the first month’s fee prior to his or her joining date. If the Club is unable to collect the monthly direct debit the remaining outstanding fees immediately become due;
- If a member does not play golf for any period no membership fees are refundable unless specifically agreed with the Club in writing that his or her membership is put on hold due to health reasons or any exceptional circumstances;
